This is an incredibly beautiful board I am very fortunate to now own. Online pictures of the board do not do the 3D layering and the crystal accents justice; it is extremely visually striking and is definitely something you will want to hang on your wall when you are not playing. The board is so detailed that you can literally look at it for hours and keep noticing new things you previously missed. The board is about 4-5 inches larger (length and width wise) than a typical monopoly board. It looks and feels extremely well constructed and is surprisingly heavy - probably somewhere in the neighbourhood of 25 lbs. One small (but nevertheless nice) detail is that the chance, community chest and title deed cards all share the same dimensions, which helps in saving some space on the table. My only issue with the board is that the weight of the darn thing might make it a bit difficult to mount on a wall. It can certainly be done, it just requires some work. Also, I would recommend that you get a pair of soft dice for this board; the tempered glass rolling area in the center won't break or anything, but you'll probably feel a lot more comfortable using quieter and softer dice.
It's without a doubt an expensive board, but if you are a fan of board games looking for the definitive version of Monopoly, this is it. (Posted on 12/27/13)
